MAY 2014 - McColly Real Estate agents from the Portage, Indiana - Willowcreek and Route 6 offices participated in this year’s Rebuilding Together initiative. Rebuilding Together Portage provides assistance to people who own their own home but who, because of physical limitation or income, are not able to cover the costs of home repair.  Typically, these individuals have a disability and/or are elderly; low-income families and non-profit facilities such as schools, shelters and daycare centers are also included.

Rebuilding Together is the last Saturday of April every year.  This year’s event was on April 26th. On that day, participants from the community come together to help individuals and families.  The entire operation depends on volunteers, made up of skilled and unskilled laborers willing to help others in the local area. This year, 6 homes were chosen to benefit from Rebuilding Together Portage.

McColly Real Estate helped sponsor the event as well as participated. The following McColly Real Estate agents donated their time to this year’s efforts: Laurie Piro, Deanna Borinsenko, Samantha Piro, Tena Krauleidis, Kristina Vega, Doug Hayes, Julie Elisha, George Kepchar, Jr, Diana Smoot, Barbara Rubalcava, Ray Rootkie, Jim Sims, Candee Warren, Tracy Anderson, Craig Bristow, Kelly White, Joy Bachmann, Chrisy Gast, Nancy Esqueda, James Cordova and Charlene Wright.
