November 2013

Date:  November 2013

November 2013– McColly Real Estate, care of the McColly Foundation, is sponsoring its annual Food Drive again to support our local food pantries. Last year’s Fall Harvest Food Drive was such a great success; the dates have been changed to cover two holidays this year. The non-perishable food collection will begin on November 15, 2013 and continue through December 13th, 2013. Drop off sites are located at any of the 18 McColly Companies offices located throughout Northwest Indiana and the Chicago Southland. Please visit, under the Find An Agent/Office link for location addresses.

Last year, because of your efforts, the McColly Foundation was able to make several truckloads of donations to local food pantries throughout the month. The following food pantries received donations from this food drive: the Salvation Army in Munster and Michigan City, serving the McColly Real Estate office areas in Indiana. Frankfort Township Food Pantry, serving the McColly Real Estate and McColly Bennett Real Estate office areas in Illinois. The food pantry representatives received the donations with great appreciation! This year, the Laurel Food Pantry in Merrillville has been added as a donation recipient. If you would like to add your non-profit food pantry to our list of recipients, please visit, and fill out the online application.

Over the past 30+ years, McColly Real Estate has annually contributed to the March of Dimes, American Cancer Society, Lions Club, American Heart Association, Habitat for Humanity, and the Special Olympics of Illinois, to name just a few great causes. Because local communities and their families are in need more than ever, McColly Real Estate formally established the McColly Foundation in the summer of 2011. Since then, the McColly Foundation has sponsored many annual charity drives ranging from Coat Drives; to Community Baby Showers to give back to those communities we live and work in.
