2017 RIS Media Top 500 Broker Rankings

(RISMedia-Norwalk, CT)— McColly Real Estate, headquartered in Schererville, IN, recently announced its inclusion in the Top 500 national ranking of real estate brokerage firms in RISMedia’s 29th Annual Power Broker Report. McColly Real Estate reported 4,922 closed residential transactions in 2016, and a total sales volume of $832,028,506.

This year’s Power Broker Report is based on responses to RISMedia’s 2017 Power Broker Survey, distributed in early January. More than 1,400 real estate firms from across the country completed the Power Broker Survey, with the top 1,000 reporting a collective 3,648,075 closed residential transactions in 2016, accounting for more than $1.16 trillion in sales volume.

Now in its 29th year, the Power Broker Report has long honored the incredible business feats of remarkable real estate leaders—and brokerage firms—who continue to shape our industry. Each April, RISMedia’s Real Estate magazine highlights the Top 500 Power Broker firms according to sales volume and transactions.

RISMedia’s Annual Power Broker Report ranks firms by closed transactions and sales volume for the prior year. The Top 500 rankings appear in the April issue of Real Estate magazine and online at rismedia.com. The complete ranking of the Top 1,000 firms, according to both sales volume and transactions, will be available later this spring at rismedia.com.

RISMedia’s 29th Annual Power Broker Report & Survey is based on results garnered from a survey distributed via email and available online at rismedia.com. The survey ranks residential real estate brokerage firms according to closed residential transaction numbers and closed residential sales volume for the year 2016. All sales and transaction data is submitted directly by brokerage firms and verified by the firm’s financial executives, outside accounting firms and/or corporate franchise headquarters.

McColly Real Estate Celebrates Annual Agent Awards Breakfast 2017

On Thursday, June 22, 2017, McColly Real Estate agents and staff celebrated their top-producing agents of 2016. This event took place at Innsbrook Country Club in Merrillville, Indiana. The event was designed and coordinated by Rhonda McColly-Fleener, Operations Coordinator. Tim McColly, Director of Education, was this year’s Master of Ceremonies. The theme for this year’s Awards and Recognition Breakfast was “McTropicana”. The venue was arranged head to toe with beautiful, tropical décor.

Highlights of the morning included a speech by Ron McColly, President of McColly Real Estate, and recognition of the Platinum Award winners: Top Producer from Illinois, Greg Leutloff, Bourbonnais office; and the Top Producer from Indiana, Kelly White, Portage Willowcreek office; The Illinois Rookie of the Year was Leslie Dryg, Crete office; The Indiana Rookie of the year was Jennifer Karban, Portage Rt. 6 Office. The 2016 President’s Platinum Team Awards went to: Illinois Top Producers Michelle Arseneau Team, Bourbonnais Office and the Indiana Top Team Producers, Lisa Grady Team, Schererville Office.

Dan Durochik, Celebrity Server at Annual Pink Ribbon Society Tea

McColly Real Estate’s General Manager, Dan Durochik, volunteered as a first time, celebrity server during the 15th Annual Pink Ribbon Society Breast Cancer Awareness Tea. Over 800 people attended the 2016 Pink Ribbon Society Tea, which was held at the Avalon Manor in Merrillville, IN on Sunday September 25th.

The Pink Ribbon society makes it a priority to give back to local communities through various support programs. It is the mission of the Pink Ribbon Society to support men and women in the Lake, Porter, Jasper, and Newton Counties in Northwest Indiana whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.

The Pink Ribbon Society Tea was a huge success and received generous donations to fight against Breast Cancer Awareness. Thank you to all who attended and support the Pink Ribbon Society. Next year’s event will be held on Sunday, September 25th, 2017.

McColly Real Estate Earns Website Quality Certification

McColly Real Estate has been awarded the Website Quality Certification (WQC) from Leading Real Estate Companies of the World®, a global community of more than 500 high quality independent real estate firms. Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE) presents the certification in recognition of excellence in website design and function.

McColly Real Estate’s website, mccolly.com, earned the certification after receiving high marks in a number of critical areas relating to website performance, including usability, design and content, interactivity, customer service and mobile responsiveness. The evaluation was conducted by Virtual Results, LLC, a real estate internet and social marketing firm selected by LeadingRE to review the websites of participating members.

Available only to firms affiliated with LeadingRE, the WQC is awarded based on specific measurements that are updated each year based on the latest in internet marketing strategies and evolving consuming preferences. To maintain the certification, companies must be re-certified every two years.

“We created the WQC to raise the bar in online marketing and recognize the companies that are demonstrating best practices with their websites,” said Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® President/CEO Pam O’Connor. “The 136 companies that earned the WQC this year have not only mastered the technical components, but they have also shown superiority in providing highly local content, up-to-the-minute information on homes, and responsive customer service.”
